SCFM DELIVERS RESULTS
OUTCOME:
Gas Plant revamped and ready to ship in 24 weeks
The Customer Situation:
• Customer would have to wait over one year to get a new cryo gas plant built
• The customer had an old cryo gas plant that hadn’t been used in years
Challenges:
• The old plant did not have a turbo compressor and unknown condition of the distillation tower, platefin exchanger and piping
• The old tower stored with the old plant did not match the plant design
• No existing drawings were available

The SCFM Solution:
• Recreate a new plant using any components that would be cost effective
• Teardown the old plant prior to refurbishment
• Inspection took place while process design and drawings were progressing
• Work closely with the customer for approvals and progress reporting
• The plant design was modified to match the smaller received tower
The Results:
The gas plant was completed within the 24 week time frame, including all new valving and instrumentation and updated control system
